On Monday September 22, 2008 Inga represented our club in the Area 21 Humorous Speech contest and won first place.  

 

Inga first qualified for the contest by winning the Toastmasters of Lincoln Park Humorous Speech Contest on September 4^th.  Interestingly, she joined our club that day and gave her first speech as her contest speech.

 

That’s right - joined, gave a first speech for a contest, and won at the club level all on one day. 2 weeks later, her second speech was another contest speech in front of members from several clubs, and she won 1^st place again.

 

Inga now moves on to the Central North Division Contest where she will compete against the all of the Area winners in the Central North Division.

 

The Central North Division Humorous Speech Contest will be held Tuesday, September 30^th 5:45 – 9pm in Chicago at 161 N. Clark, 40^th Floor. (Accenture Building)
